Travelling with CPAP

•  Batteries and adapters are available for most CPAP machines. These are especially helpful for truck drivers or for those in a motor home. If flying with CPAP it is always recommended to take CPAP as carry on luggage. An extra carry on is usually allowed for medical equipment. Please check with your airline.

•  Security personnel in airports are familiar with all types of equipment that may be taken on board. It is a good idea to have a copy of your prescription.

•  Most machines will automatically convert voltage for those parts of the world that use 220V instead of 110V. Therefore, the inexpensive wall adapter to accommodate the different styles of outlets is all that’s needed.
